LITTLE ROCK, AR (Feb. 20, 2025)—SimpliFi, a leading workforce solutions provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Amy Beard, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, as Vice President & Chief Clinical Officer (VP & CCO). In this role, Beard will provide clinical leadership, oversee compliance, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance workforce solutions for SimpliFi’s healthcare partners.
With over 20 years of leadership experience in acute care hospitals, including six years as a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Beard brings a deep understanding of patient care, operational excellence, and workforce strategy to her new role with SimpliFi. Most recently, she served as CNO within UAB Medicine, a leading academic medical center health system in the Southeast. Before that, she held leadership roles at Tenet Health, where she was CNO of a 595-bed facility and contributed to facility and market-level initiatives.
“Clinical rigor is the cornerstone of SimpliFi’s partnerships with healthcare systems. I am so excited that Amy Beard is joining us as Chief Clinical Officer to lead our outstanding team of clinicians and compliance specialists,” said James Quick, President of SimpliFi. “Amy is joining us at the perfect time as we expand our MSP services to new geographies, scale our external talent pool offering, and continue to grow the CAP preceptor program. Amy is a strong cultural fit with SimpliFi and our values of transparency, trust, and accountability.”
As VP & CCO, Beard will oversee SimpliFi’s Compliance and Clinical teams while serving as a trusted partner to Chief Nurse Executives and healthcare workforce leaders. She will play a pivotal role leading SimpliFi’s Confidence Accelerating Practice (CAP) program, strengthening nurse onboarding and retention by pairing new graduates with rigorously trained preceptors.
“I was drawn to SimpliFi because of their authentic culture and prestigious reputation as a leader in workforce solutions,” said Beard. “SimpliFi’s commitment to unparalleled clinical excellence and rigorous compliance standards align with my core values. I look forward to continuing the legacy SimpliFi has of engaging healthcare partners with transparency and care.”
The CAP program helps healthcare organizations build and sustain their core nursing workforce while easing the burden on experienced RNs. Unlike traditional onboarding models, which can overwhelm preceptors balancing patient care and training responsibilities, the CAP model integrates new nurse graduates into patient assignments at a measured pace with expert mentorship.
“Amy’s leadership and strategic vision will be instrumental in helping our healthcare partners navigate workforce challenges and implement innovative solutions,” added Quick. “Her expertise in clinical operations and her passion for patient care make her an invaluable addition to our team.”
